Therapy Pricing
Beginning therapy is an important decision, emotionally and financially. My goal is to make the cost and payment process clear from the beginning, so you know what to expect.
Individual Therapy
$140 per session
50–60 minutes
Available virtually throughout Ontario and in person in London.
Services are provided by Steve Sunseth, MSW, RSW. Fees are not subject to HST.
Insurance Coverage and Payment
Many extended health plans provide coverage for psychotherapy or counselling delivered by a Registered Social Worker.
Direct billing is available with many insurers. When direct billing is unavailable, payment can be made by credit card, e-transfer, or securely through the client portal. A receipt will be provided for reimbursement.
Because plans vary, I recommend confirming that your policy covers services provided by an MSW or Registered Social Worker.
Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at the full session rate, except in emergencies or unavoidable circumstances.
When Cost Is a Barrier
A limited number of reduced-fee appointments may be available. You are welcome to ask about current availability during your introductory session.
